Golf event to benefit fight against human trafficking

Eastside Women of Purpose (EWOP) is putting on its 2nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament, “Tee Off Against Trafficking,” at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 25 at Willows Run in Redmond. The event will raise funds to help stop human trafficking.

EWOP is a volunteer group founded in 2007 by a young, local mom after traveling to Thailand and Cambodia on a child trafficking, fact-finding mission. EWOP is made up of local business leaders, moms, teachers, and other women. They raise awareness and funds to help curb human trafficking and exploitation around the world.

EWOP is a volunteer chapter of World Concern – a Seattle-based nonprofit relief organization.
